H'suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment Review

Today, I would like to tell you about my experience wish H'Suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment by Lush. I purchased it at a Lush store off of Union Square in Manhattan, but you can also get it here. It runs for $21.95 for a 7.9 oz pot. It seems small at first, and I was a bit hesitant because I thought to myself that I was going to get NOTHING out of this container. But I've used it twice so far, and I'm going to use it for a third time on Friday evening. Based on how much I have used the prior two times, I am estimating that I will get about eight to ten uses out of this. I will put an update on this post when I finish the container completely to let you know how many times I actually got to use it though.

When I arrived to the store, I was staring at the wall of hair masks. I knew what my hair needed, but I didn't know which hair mask would be right for me. A few of the ladies came over to me, and asked what I was looking for. I explained my hair situation, and they all recommended this particular treatment for me.

To give you a bit of background on my hair...
My hair is wavy, frizzy and somewhere between "normal and thin" in thickness. I have over-dyed, over-bleached, over-destroyed hair that I am trying to heal after my teenage rebellion destroyed my once lush locks. My hair grows very, very slowly. My ends are super dry, but my roots get super oily in a ridiculously short amount of time. I also have split ends.

Back to the hair treatment...
When I got home, I immediately wanted to give this a try. As instructed, I covered my hair while it was DRY with the cream, and left it in for an hour. While the instructions on the container say to leave it in for twenty minutes, one of the ladies told me she would leave it in for an hour. This is an all-natural, cruelty-free product and so it does not hurt to leave it in for longer if you are just sitting at home anyway! After shampooing, and conditioning my hair an hour later, it was time for my first impression! My hair actually felt softer, and the frizz was not as crazy as it normally is. I would say it definitely calms my hair down, and I can see the difference when I use it. I was told that generally people use this product once a month, but if your hair needs extra help you can use it once a week. I try to use it when I have to go out the following day so that my hair has somewhere to look a little extra good!

I will definitely keep on with this product from the two experiences that I have had. If I end up calculating correctly, and I get about eight uses out of this jar then that $22 doesn't seem so bad ( $22cost/8 uses = 2.75 per use). I am in college, and I am consistently on a budget but I do find that taking care of myself is important to me. So if a product is worth using, then I will keep on. I am curious about trying the other hair treatments from Lush. But for now, I'll finish up this particular one.

Cheers,
